The new startup brand for Rachel Boothroyd Training and Coaching visually shows that change is possible and identifies the stage of a team’s or individual’s journey to mental wellbeing in the workplace. It was designed to show the journey of change from grey, dull, tight and sharp to colourful, vibrant, fluid and fun.

Dysfunctional business teams, poor company culture, and disillusioned team members are some of the reasons for poor company performance, poor mental wellbeing, and high staff turnover. The new startup brand for Rachel Boothroyd Training and Coaching visually shows that change is possible and identifies the stage of a team’s or individual’s journey to mental wellbeing in the workplace. It was designed to show the journey of change from grey, dull, tight and sharp to colourful, vibrant, fluid and fun. This was especially useful for new clients keen to have some training and coaching. They could use the diagrams to explain where their mental state currently was and where they wanted it to be.
Elevated Solution
The ‘change is possible’ message was reinforced by using straplines of expertise. These included: ‘slow becomes flow’, ‘tight becomes bright’, ‘work becomes play’, ‘boring becomes rousing’ and were applied across posters and flyers. In addition a pre-printed notepad using one of the changing shapes with a scale, helped to pinpoint the position the individual feels they are at opening up discussion.
We also created a short ident to bring the brand properties to life. This animation showed that your mental state can literally change shape for the better. As well as these items we also directed the creation and development of the website. Other design applications were also crafted using the brand toolkit.
